MTSU Aerospace Practice Test

Completing the ATP Certification Training Program course is the prerequisite for FAA ATP eligibility. This course is specifically designed to prepare applicants for the ATP knowledge test and to cover essential topics like aeronautical decision making, risk management, crew resource management, and aeromedical factors that are directly relevant to operating as an airline transport pilot. Without finishing this program, you aren’t eligible to sit for the ATP knowledge test, even if you have the flying hours or other ratings.

The other options train for different goals: an IFR course focuses on instrument flight rules and does not satisfy the ATP prerequisite; commercial pilot ground school covers broad commercial aviation knowledge but isn’t a requirement for ATP; and an instrument rating course is about obtaining an instrument rating, not about becoming eligible for the ATP certificate.
